[Mostly] Wordless Wednesday 11/23/11

I'm mostly on vacation this week, so here's a wordy [Mostly] Wordless Wednesday entry for you. An image full of words (borrowed from Facebook), but no further commentary from me. You should be able to click on the image to enlarge it. Have a wonderful week!

Which ones really grab you? Any you don't agree with?

May you find your Muse.

Hi Shannon, thanks for entering my giveaway! Happy belated birthday for Sunday! :) I loved this list!

2. The worse part of an argument is when you realise you're wrong but you're still trying to argue to cover up that fact.

4. DEFINITELY need a sarcasm font!

5. Here is a method to fold it (by a man, no less!), though I can never seem to replicate it successfully: http://youtu.be/YHTyH2nuFAw

19. Twice, then pray their next sentence is not a follow-on...:)

23. LMAO!

I agree with them all except #6. I love writing in cursive and it enables me to write faster. Most of my students don't know it or don't use it, when it would help them greatly with speed on writing tests.

That was a fun list.

Have a great holiday weekend, Shannon.

Being a mum who has sleepless nights, no. 3 grabbed me most. I remember my own mum nagging me and my sister to go have an afternoon nap in the weekends and I really really didn't like it. Now I will give anything to have a little bit of sleep, LOL.

This is a great list! Thanks for sharing. They're all good, but #s 2, 9, 11, & 18 hit the hardest for me.

I never know what to say when my own kids and students complain about learning cursive.

It's so true about #19.

Funny list!

I hope you had a good Thanksgiving weekend.

J.C., a sarcasm font would be great! It would save all those extra means of trying to get the sarcasm across. Haha at finding a video of it! There ya' go. I'm going to have to look at it and see if it's the same way I do it or not. And on #19, my rule is typically two or three, depending on the situation.

Medeia, I definitely agree about cursive. I've read that many schools are beginning to get rid of it, and I can't believe it. It takes me forever to print these days. My son is six and keeps talking about wanting to learn to write cursive. (Bet he won't be quite as excited once it begins, but it's cute right now).

Len, I hear you!

Ruth, I definitely can't remember the last time I wasn't at least a little bit tired. And I'm a big boredom eater.

Theresa, I know the day will come when my kids are complaining about it, so I'm starting to store up arguments now. Haha!
