[Mostly] Wordless Wednesday 9/28/11

This [Mostly] Wordless Wednesday is going to be a departure from the norm. Rather than showing an attractive/cute shot I liked, I wanted to share a bit of a funny I saw on a church's front sign on the way home the other night.

Sounds good to me! Don't forget to get your "exercise" in today. To help you along, how about some writer's comics by Inkygirl?

Any funnies to share with us today? See any great signs that have stuck with you?

May you find your Muse.

That is a cute sign - but it's so true! Laughter has been proven (or so I've heard) to lower blood pressure.

My fave joke is about these three male dogs. They're standing around chatting when a gorgeous female poodle walks into their midst and they are awestruck. The poodle sees the effect she has on them and decides to take pity. She comes up to these boys and says: "OK, the one who can use the words 'liver' and 'cheese' in a unique, interesting sentence can go out with me."

So, she turns to the first dog, a sturdy muscular black lab, who says: "I love liver and cheese."

"Ugh! That's not original at all!" She then turns to the second dog, a stately, gorgeous golden retriever. "Well?"

The retriever is a little nervous after her reaction to the lab's response, so without thinking, he blurts: "Uh, I.. I DON'T like liver and cheese!"

"Oh, please." She turns to the third dog, the Taco Bell chihuahua. "And you?"

Well, he struts up to the poodle, throws a smug smile at his comrades and says: "Liver alone - cheese mine!"

Crystal, haha! Thanks for the joke. I can't hear "liver alone" without thinking of "Scream."

KatieO, I hope the joke was a hit at the dog park!

J.A., I agree. I had to go back later that night to get a pic.
