A-to-Z Reflections Post & Linky

It's time for my A-to-Z Reflections. The linky list is at the end. To sign up, make sure you create your post first then link directly to that post, not to your overall blog.

This was my third A-to-Z Challenge, and I had a lot of fun this month with my theme on History's Mysteries. I learned some new things and got a few story ideas from my research. Most of what I wrote about was already known to me in some way, shape or form, but I still learned tidbits about even those events I'd already heard of.

My favorite topic, by far, was the Dyatlov Pass Incident, which was entirely new to me. It's a fascinating story, no matter which direction you look at it from. At least for me.

But my favorite part of this A-to-Z Challenge was not actually my topics or what I learned from them, but the comments people left on the stories. I liked the discussions, the theories, the funny responses, and the great interaction with you guys. Some of you came up with theories that hadn't been mentioned before. Some of them were crazy, but others were just as logical as those already mentioned. All of them were interesting and entertaining.

So for that I have to thank those of you who left comments during the A-to-Z Challenge. Thank you! I had a lot of fun with this one.

Before you think it is completely done, don't forget the Post A-to-Z Road Trip. We'll be announcing it on May 8 on the A-to-Z Challenge blog, as well as posting a linky lists for those interested to sign up. For anyone who isn't aware of what it is, there will be a more thorough explanation on that date, but the gist of it is that you have between the opening date and the next A-to-Z Challenge to visit the A-to-Z participants. This is for those bound and determined to make it through the entire A-to-Z sign-up list to discover new blogs. There are no limits or restrictions, other than that it ends when it's time for the next Challenge.

Will you be posting a reflections post? What was your favorite History's Mystery? What is your favorite History's Mystery that I didn't post about? Will you be joining us on the Post A-to-Z Road Trip?

May you find your Muse.

I really enjoyed your posts! Some of the mysteries were totally new to me and others added more info to what I originally knew. Interesting either way. :)

I should probably join the Post A to Z Road Trip, as I didn’t visit as many blogs as I wanted to during the challenge. I loved your theme – I hadn’t heard of a lot of the mysteries before, so it was very interesting.

I might join you guys this year because I didn't get to visit many on the list.
I can't remember a favorite, but the mysteries were thought-provoking.

I enjoyed all your posts, both the ones I knew about and the ones I didn't. Not sure which was my fave, tho; they were all pretty darn interesting!

I've been continuing to visit new folks I didn't reach during the challenge, is that what you mean the road trip is, or is it something beyond that? Does that mean the linky will go by by at the end of the road trip?

Have read some nice reflections, seems some had super positive experiences and other mixed; but lots of folks survived!

Your theme was one of my favorites, so many interesting mysteries! And of course I loved being one of your minions. :)

History's Mysteries. That's just poetic. The Road Trip sounds like an excellent idea--especially for those of us who weren't able to make it through the entire list.

I think it was the one you're mentioning the one with the climbers that died in the mountain? That was my favorite and I kept thinking about it for many days. I read most of your mysteries until I got overwhelmed with duty and life. But I do believe your theme rocked!

I loved your theme! I could watch mysteries for weeks on TV. I've always been fascinated by them.

The road trip sounds intimidating with 1,800+ destinations!

I also wrote my reflection post before the list was up, but my link has since been entered. Definitely interested in the road trip. :-)

One of my favorite History's Mysteries you didn't cover is the Philadelphia Experiment, which took place during WWII and involved the Navy and time travel.

It really was fun, wasn't it? Good reflection on the A-Z.

As always I had a great time during the A to Z, though I can't say I'm sad to be having a break from it now that we're in May. In interesting news, I think I just got my idea for next year's theme. And it was while reading your reflection post!! Don't worry, though, I think it's quite an original idea. hehe

This challenge was a ton of fun, and am looking forwards to it in the coming years. I do hope to be a lot more prepared, as mentioned in my Reflections post.

I loved your theme! The Dyatlov Pass was also my favorite out of the mysteries you posted. I think I mentioned it multiple times. It just has so much there that I am surprised not more has been explored with it.

I think the fact you chose a lot of non-mainstream incidents was great (at least many weren't known by me) and offered a broader scope of the unknown/unsolved that exists out there.

Great job and curious as to what you may do next year.

I loved all of your mysteries! I don't think I can pick one, because they were all interesting in different ways. I'm doing ALL the A to Z stuff. :)
