This month's optional question is: It's spring! Does this season inspire you to write more than others, or not?
For me, spring doesn't inspire me to write, though it's my second favorite season (fall wins!). I don't think there's a season where I write more than usual, but I often write less than usual in the summer.
I've been so busy and tired, I haven't finished a new short story since the last week in January. But yesterday I finally got one finished, and I'm hoping this means I'll catch up and make progress again. I've started a bunch, but not finished them. Here's to getting more done!

There's no particular season that inspires me more than others. I kind of wish there was in a way because I could work around my creativity peaks and troughs better. Cheers - Ellen
Congratulations on finishing one of your short stories. Fall is my favorite season, too. I think it's because it acts like it's supposed to, up here in Maine anyway.

I hear you about being tired. Glad you were able to finish a story, and I'm wishing you a much easier May. I heard once that it doesn't matter what speed we're going, as long as we keep moving.

Congratulations on finishing your short story and especially on your submissions! It is great that you use the hop to help keep you pushing forward. Like you autumn is my favorite season followed by spring. However, I am definitely more inspired to write in the fall and explore artistic pursuits (painting, drawing, photography) in the spring.

My sympathies on the exhaustion since January. I don't blame you at all. I limped toward my current WIP. But you're still doing great!
You always have some irons in the fire. Summer is my slowest writing month, winter is best. Cold keeps me inside.

That's a good point. If you know going in that one season is lower, you can plan other things instead. In summer, I typically resign myself to getting less done.
Fall mostly acts like it's supposed to here in Colorado, though we also know we'll get snow mixed in there some (same for spring, which I imagine is the same for you since you're farther north?).
Fall is the best! It sounds like a great opportunity.
